On Monday LeBron James hinted that the New Jersey (soon to be Brooklyn) Nets might be his New York team of choice when he becomes a free agent in 2010.
When asked to rank all of his choices for New York basketball teams, James said:
1. Nets2. Harlem Globetrotters
3. New York Liberty
4. St. John's Red Storm
5. Any of the team's in the Chelsea Piers Summer League
6. St. John's Lady Red Storm
7. Knicks
