The NBA has hired Ronald L. Johnson, retired army general with no previous basketball experience, to become the senior vice president for referee operations. Based on my limited knowledge of the army, this means that most referees will soon form a resistance force which the NBA will underestimate and the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass will be looted by the end of the day.
The good news is that Johnson has a 100-year plan for the league.
